Bastille Day 14 july 1789

-Commoners attacked the Armory Bastille

-8,000 commoners (mob)

-98 commoners died

-Take control

Revolution spreads

- King refuses to accept NA as a Governmental Body

- Thousands of women march to versailles with guns and made the king to accept NA as a Governmental Body

*25%-30% land ownerships

*exempt from taxes

-Commoners

*majority of population

*work land

*35%-40% land ownerships

*pay taxes

-Bourgeoisies

*middle class

*8% population
